Pre-Installation FAQ

Question Answer
1) What software version should my tablet be on before I start? Please follow the guide exactly as shown, regardless of the version.
※ It does not matter even if your tablet is already on the latest version.
2) Which cable should I use? Daiso (budget option)
Coupang (A to C)

※ Please prepare one of the two recommended cable types before starting.
3) My tablet already has partial Korean localization or Google apps installed. Do I still need to factory reset it? No. That is not necessary.
4) Does storage size matter? For example, 128GB or 256GB? No. Storage size does not matter.
Both 8GB / 12GB RAM and standard / AG models are also supported.
5) Can I use a laptop instead of a desktop PC? Yes, as long as it is running Windows 10 or later.
(MacBook and macOS are not supported.)
6) The USB debugging prompt is not showing up. ① Make sure USB debugging is enabled (see 0:28).
② Disconnect the cable from the tablet and plug it in again.
③ Restart both the tablet and the PC or laptop, then check again.
④ If needed, try again with one of the recommended cables listed in the pinned comment.
7) My model number does not appear in the Software Fix program. ① Search for TB375FC as TB373FU.
② Search for TB365FC as TB361FU.
③ Search for TB335FC as TB336FU.

Installation Troubleshooting

Issue Solution
1) VCRUNTIME140.dll or MSVCP140.dll is missing, so the program will not run. Watch the video guide
2) The Software Fix program will not open or stays on an infinite loading screen. This is usually not a serious problem.
3) I cannot power on the tablet. Press and hold Power + Volume Up + Volume Down together for 6 seconds,
then press the Power button to turn the tablet on.
4) There is no compressed file inside the RomFiles folder. ① Delete the RomFiles folder, then download the firmware again through Software Fix.
② If you see the message "Resource is unzippping...", close the Software Fix program by clicking the X button in the top-right corner.
③ Check whether the compressed file is present.
(If it is still missing, repeat the same process.)
5) BROM protocol error. Check device environment. ① The cable may be faulty.
② If you are using a desktop PC, connect it to a rear USB port. (This does not apply to laptops.)
③ If the issue continues, try again with one of the recommended cables listed in the pinned comment.
6) Error occurred, please contact tool owner ① While the cable is connected, press and hold Power + Volume Up + Volume Down together for 6 seconds, then turn on the tablet.
② On your PC or laptop, click Read PT, then tap Restart on the tablet.
(This is the ⟳ icon on the right side of the tablet's power-off screen.)
③ If the issue continues, try again with one of the recommended cables listed in the pinned comment.
7) DA data checksum mismatched. 0x786C != 0x0 ① Press and hold Power + Volume Up + Volume Down together for 7 seconds.
② Press the Power button to turn the tablet on.
③ Start over and follow the video guide again from the beginning.
8) This firmware version is known to have bugs or other issues. ① In the pinned comment of the LPMBOX guide video, click "See more" and download the firmware listed in the "File Download" section.
② Extract the file, move the image folder into LPMBOX, and then continue with option 1.
9) After downgrading or installing the Global ROM, the tablet boots into the recovery screen.
(Try again / Factory data reset)

③ After the Global ROM boots, please continue with the remaining setup as well.
※ Please follow the steps in order.
10) Unknown error occurred, please contact tool owner Reinstall the MTK driver → delete the tools folder inside the LPMBOX folder → run LPMBOX again and try once more.
② During the country code change step, disconnect the cable, then reconnect it while holding the Volume Up button (Preloader guide).
③ If the same error still appears, try the cable recommended in the pinned comment or the article, or try again on a different PC or laptop.
11) The "Allow USB debugging" popup does not appear. Please restart both the tablet and the PC or laptop, then try LPMBOX again.
12) The firmware installation failed. (Infinite reboot loop) ① Run LPMBOX → Additional Options → then try reinstalling the firmware.
② If the same issue continues, try the cable recommended in the pinned comment or the article, or try again on a different PC or laptop.
13) data_mux receive timeout or canceled. Please purchase and use the cable recommended in the pinned comment or the article, then try again.
14) This model is not supported by LPMBOX. Please restart both the tablet and the PC or laptop, then try LPMBOX again.

 

Post-Installation FAQ

Question Answer
1) The tablet is stuck in an infinite reboot loop. (Bricked) Please refer to the Fastboot guide (from 8:39 to 9:16).
② After putting the tablet into Fastboot mode, go to the LPMBOX folder → tools folder → platform-tools folder.
Please refer to the current slot guide (from 9:22 to 10:26).
④ After the Global ROM boots, please continue with the remaining setup steps as well.
※ Please follow the steps in order.
2) Will there be any issues with Widevine, Netflix, Coupang Play, or similar streaming services? If you follow the video carefully without skipping any steps, there should be no issues.
3) I installed the Global ROM. How do updates work, and are they required? ① Devices running the Global ROM can only be updated through a PC or laptop.
② Updating is optional. It is entirely up to you.
③ In the Software Fix program, download the firmware fileextract it → move the image folder into LPMBOX → run the program → then continue with option 2.
4) I see a message saying System UI has stopped, and the tablet boots into recovery. ① Download the firmware file in the software repair program.
② Extract it → move the image folder into LPMBOX.
③ Run the Start program → connect the device → then continue with option 1.
5) After downgrading or installing the Global ROM, the tablet boots into the recovery screen.
(Try again / Factory data reset)

6) Where can I download the debloat tool for removing unnecessary apps? The program is currently in development.
